So, what can you expect from McRenegades? We’re developing organically and we’re a collective of individuals, so we don’t want to be tied to proscriptive rules, but we do want you to keep visiting so we’re starting off with a regular Thursday slot titled Meet the McRenegades. This will run through April and May to give all the McRenegades who want to a chance to explain why they feel a part of the clan McRenegade. Some McRenegades prefer to let their published work do their talking and that’s great, but we want you to get to know the clan and this seemed a good way to start.
Each McRenegade’s profile has links to their work, so there’s plenty for you to explore beyond this site and we hope you will have the curiosity to get clicking and find out more about us and our work. We are a diverse group so we don’t expect everyone to like all that we do – what binds us together is our McRenegade status not the style of our writing – we’re simply here to let you know who we are and what we do and give you the chance to find out more for yourself.
In time we’ll add reviews, pop-up events and of course details of new publications. As and when things happen, we’ll let you know. You can sign up for RSS feeds or follow us on Facebook. In time we may tweet but we’re all too busy for that right now. And our joint and individual attitudes to social media will be part of our developing community personality. We’re not obsessed with putting ourselves out there – but we’re here should you choose to stop by.
Our first special virtual event is on EASTER DAY when McRenegade stalwart Angus Shoor Caan publishes his new book Easter Vedan. So once you’ve made yourself sick on chocolate why not pop over here and find out all about it!
